Dennis Odean Cleghorn, "Bo Diddle"

Dennis Odean Cleghorn, 85. of Foreman , AR passed away June 7, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Cleghorn was born March 10, 1931 in Alleene, AR to Floyd Dennis and Coelia Pearl Cleghorn. Retired after 35 years with Ashdown Grove Cement Plant. He and Floyce traveled for many years as recreational vehicle mobilization volunteers building churches, orphanages, and working with alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities. He served in the National Guard. He was an avid reader of Western Books and he loved baseball. His sense of humor and the love he showed his family will never be forgotten. His good natured aggravation of his children has descended to his great grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Floyce K. Cleghorn of Foreman, AR; three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard W. (Karen) Cleghorn of Jacksboro, Texas, Michael D. Cleghorn of Foreman, AR, Travis L. (Kathy) Cleghorn of Keller, TX; one daughter and son-in-law, Marquenta F.(Willie) French of Foreman, AR; eight grandchildren, Shanna (Jerry) Pritchett, Shane (Melissa) Cleghorn, Lamar (Tashera) Cleghorn, Christian (Bonnie) Cleghorn, Lachelle Cleghorn, Dechelle Balensiefen, Javan (Angela) Cleghorn, Tyler Cleghorn; Seventeen great grandchildren, Katelyn Pritchett, Trysten Cleghorn, Kahlia Cleghorn, Kaymbrey Pritchett, Ravin Balensiefen, Hayden Cleghorn, Keegan Pritchett, Ryan Balensiefen, Cody and Carrie Balensiefen, Torrie Cleghorn, Emilie Cleghorn, Logan Balensiefen, Brinlie Cleghorn, Emersen Cleghorn, Kyler Cleghorn, Conner Cleghorn; one brother and sister-in-law, Lewis (Evelyn) Cleghorn of Illinois; one sister and brother-in-law, Floydene (Alan) Rush of Mississippi; brother and sister-in-laws, Doug and Sharon Estep of Clovis, NM, Charles and LaVerne Redden of Dayton, TX ; brother-in-law, Lloyd Woods of Foreman, AR; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and relatives. Visitation will be Friday June 10, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Madden Funeral Home in FOREMAN, AR. Funeral Services will be Saturday June 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Madden Funeral Home in ASHDOWN, AR with Rev. Matt Neece officiating with Rev. Bennie Womble assisting.
