Jaqueline Dixon Wiseman

Jacqueline Dixon Wiseman was born November 24, 1948 in Pine Bluff, AR. Her sunlight shined bright for 77 years until God decided that her service was no longer needed nor required here on earth. Jacqueline’s sun set on June 09, 2026 at her home surrounded by family. Jacqueline united with St. Matthew Baptist Church at an early age. She was a Sunday school teacher, Vacation Bible school teacher, member of the Usher board, and church clerk. Jacqueline also served several years as the Little River District correspondence secretary. She was one of the founding members of the C.A.P.P. initiative (Community Alternative Prevention Program), Community Food Pantry, and played an intricate part in St. Matthew’s Project Mustard Seed. Jacqueline graduated from University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff with her degree in dietary education. While there, she was a 1969 initiate into the Beta Beta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Jacqueline lived a daily purpose-driven life helping her family and her community. Post-graduation, she taught in and drove the school bus for Ashdown Public Schools (CD Franks/LF Henderson Intermediate) for a little over three decades. Jacqueline also went back to achieve her license and became a school counselor. As the school counselor at Margret Daniels Intermediate, she continued to positively touch so many lives until she retired. After her mother passed, Jacqueline stepped into Mrs. Helen’s unfinished business by holding offices in Kiwanis and Foreman City Council. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses and Helen Dixon; and three brothers, Kenneth Hollis, Ronald Charles, and Michael Wayne Dixon; and her husband, Troy Wiseman. She leaves to cherish her memories: 2 children—Jeffrey Sims ( Jessica) of Foreman, AR and Joslyn McEwen of Little Rock, AR; 7 grandchildren—Jerick Sims, JaVonna Sims, Jeffrey Sims, Azalee Sims, and Lannden Shurtleff; Jaylon McEwen, and Tarek “TJ” McEwen, Jr.; 2 great-grandchildren—Grayson McEwen and Xavier McEwen; 2 brothers—Eugene Dixon of Vernon, TX; William Dixon; (Paula) of Foreman, AR; 3 sisters—Sheri Collins (WH) of Foreman, AR; Barbara Ware (Mitch) of Texarkana, AR; Constance Stitt (Robert) of New Port Richey, FL; 14 nieces and nephews and 13 great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2:00 at Oscar Hamilton Elementary Gym with Robert Easter officiating.
