Natalie Fields

Natalie Dale Fields, 61, of Ashdown, Arkansas passed away July 30, 2024 in Texarkana, Texas. She was born June 27, 1963, in Ashdown, Arkansas to Thomas Stuart and Evelyn Tedder (Moore). Natalie was a member of the 1981 graduating class of Ashdown High School. After school, Natalie spent most of her working career doing secretarial work at York Pecan and Morgan Plumbing, Inc. Natalie was diligent in everything she did and always ensured quality work. Natalie could often be found working in her yard, tending to her plants and flowers with great care and dedication. Her green thumb transformed her garden into a vibrant and inviting sanctuary, reflecting her love for beauty and nature. She took immense pride in her work, always ensuring that her home was not only well-kept but also a welcoming space for family and friends. In addition to her gardening, Natalie had a deep passion for quilting and sewing. She found joy in creating handmade quilts and crafts, each piece a testament to her skill and creativity. Her quilts, rich with color and pattern, were more than just fabric—they were heartfelt creations that brought warmth and comfort to those she loved. Her zeal for these crafts was a reflection of her nurturing spirit and her desire to share her love through her handiwork. In her later years, Natalie embraced her role as "Nannie" with much enthusiasm and affection. She devoted much of her time to her grandchildren. Her home was often a haven for them, filled with laughter, stories, and the special kind of love that only a grandparent can provide. Natalie cherished every moment with her grandchildren. Her warm presence and caring nature created lasting memories and a deep bond that her grandchildren will carry with them always. Natalie is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn “Elsie” Moore Tedder, and sisters, Kim Stuart and Stacey Dawson. Natalie is survived by her father, Thomas (Patsy) Stuart; 4 children: Mitch (Jennifer) Wade, Raymond Fields, Kelli Fields, and Jacob Rodriguez; 7 grandchildren: Brooklyn, Stella, Kenley, Dan, Rayleigh, Klayton, and Knox; 3 sisters: Kathy (Steve) Hadaway, Pam (Richard) McElhannon, and Melanie Friday (Moe Upton); and 1 brother, Michael Friday. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm and services will be Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Both are at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, Arkansas. Interment will be at Marvin Cemetery in Wallace, Arkansas
