Sean David Womble

The family of Sean David Womble, 52, of Foreman, Arkansas is deeply saddened to announce his passing on Saturday, September 12th of 2026. He was born on September 10th of 1974 in Ashdown, Arkansas. He graduated from Ashdown High School in 1992 and enlisted into the United States Navy, where he was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. He served his country for four years as a machinist and was honorably discharged in 1996. He was deeply proud of his service, and he made his love for his country known throughout his lifetime. At the time of his death, he was assistant superintendent at Domtar paper mill in Ashdown, Arkansas. Sean is remembered for many things. He was a gifted storyteller. He could fix everything, and he could build anything. His sense of humor and his charismatic personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Sean carried a profound love for music throughout his life. He was a self-taught guitarist and a talented singer who found endless joy connecting with others through song. This was evident throughout his time in the local music scene, as well as Worship Leader at Central Baptist Church in Ashdown. He was never happier than when he was on stage, and he was blessed to be able to combine his faith and his music. Sean’s faith was incredibly important to him. He found comfort and reassurance in Jesus Christ, and he rejoiced in the promise of eternal life with his savior. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Michael Stewart. He is survived by his children: Hailey Skiles and Warren Skiles, Kennedy Womble and Erin Williams, Lucas Womble, and Jenna Womble; his siblings: Charles “Randy” Hicks and Mindy Hicks, Christal Bradford, Christy Ross, Charlotte Hicks, Chrystal Kellum, and Patrick Tapp; his parents: Judy Stewart, and David Womble and Kat Womble; his partner: Marina Stanley. The visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 17th of 2026 at Madden Funeral Home, 371 North 3rd Street, Ashdown, Arkansas. The funeral will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September, 18th of 2026 at Central Baptist Church, 261 West Commerce Street, Ashdown, Arkansas with Bro. Don Embry officiating. Interment to follow at Alleene Cemetery.
