Charles Jefferson McDowell, 85, of Texarkana, TX passed away January 13, 2020 in a local hospital. He was born May 8, 1934 in Ogden, AR to the late George and Charlene McDowell. He served in the United States Air Force. Survivors include one step-son, Billy Griffin of Texarkana, TX, two step-grandchildren, Taylor Griffin-Pearcy and Kimberly Adnes and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown. A graveside service will be Saturday at 2:00 at Ashdown Cemetery.
