Daryl “Bear” Grimes, 67, of Ashdown, AR passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 in a local hospital. He was born September 21, 1952 to the late Luther Grimes and Naomi Yarberry. He attended Hicks Baptist Church. Mr. Grimes is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Patricia Keaton. Survivors include his wife, Regenia Grimes of Ashdown, three daughters and one son-in-law, Brandi and Marrio Grimes, Mendi Grimes and Erika Grimes, all of Ashdown, three brothers, Floyd Bridgewater and Jerry Bridgewater, both of Houston, TX and Eddie Grimes of Colorado, and four grandchildren, Raeleigh Grimes, Laiken Grimes, Gavin Moss and Xander Moss, all of Ashdown. Visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown. Services will be Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:00 at the funeral home with Jimmy Woods officiating. Interment to follow at Wright’s Chapel in Ben Lomond.
