David Payne, 69, of Wilton, AR passed away February 7, 2019 at home. He was born March 22, 1949 in Ashdown, AR to the late Ovie and Mae Dell Payne. Mr. Payne served in the United States Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Payne and Burnice Payne and three sisters, Mildred Glover, Ola Mae Summerell, and Christine Hendrix. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Payne of Wilton, one son, Bobby Payne of England, AR, four daughters and one son-in-law, Reesa and Jay Russell of South Carolina, Stacy Payne of Louisiana, Patricia Payne and Sarah Dorse of Ashdown, two brothers and one sister-in-law, Tommy and Martha Payne of Tyler, TX and Fred Payne of Foreman, AR, two sisters and one brother-in-law, Martha Cummins of Texarkana and Pat and Mark Sukiennik of Tyler, TX and eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Madden Funeral Home of Ashdown, AR. Services will be Monday, February 11, 2019 at 2:00 at Madden Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Payne and Rev. Mike Mize officiating. Interment to follow at Wilton Cemetery in Wilton, AR.
