Evelyn Caver, 77, of Ashdown, AR passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Ashdown. She was born April 19, 1944 in Pittsburg, PA to the late James A. and Lillie (Proudfit) Rain. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillie Rain, husband, Chuck Caver, two brothers, Russell and Harvey Rain, three sisters, Henrietta Ireland, Grace Mehan and Clara Pernellie, a daughter, Kathy Caver and granddaughter, Alyssa Glasgow. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Carrie Caver of Evansville, IN, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Paula Madden of Ashdown, Dawn and Mark Reynolds of Wilton and Julie and Reggie Johns of Texarkana, three brothers and one sister-in-law, Tim and Janice Rain of Whitter, CA, Tom Rain of Ft. Collins, CO and Luke Rain of Denton, TX, three sisters and one brother-in-law, Frances Fredrickson of CA, Kay Kauffman of Madres, OR and Liz and Tom Milliren of Sinton, TX, twelve grandchildren, Jordan Brianne Floyd, Jennifer Cowling, Heather (Thomas) Dickens, Kayla Reynolds, Josh Reynolds, Rob Clay, Victoria Clay, Daniel Bicknell, Ceagan Caver, Cayden Caver, Cayson Caver and Colton Caver, thirteen great-grandchildren, Aubriella Floyd, Avianna Floyd, Ashlynn Floyd, Rae’lynn Floyd, Jordan (Jada) Cowling, Jackson Dickens, Hunter Wood, Callie, Wood, Liam Reynolds, Aurora Glasgow, Eli Glasgow, Jaiden Wells and Briella White and one great great-granddaughter, JadaBeth Cowling. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown. Services will be Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 10:00 at the funeral home with Ed Root officiating. Interment to follow at Ashdown Memorial Gardens.
