Kenneth Hollis Dixon

Kenneth Hollis Dixon (also known as ‘Sarge’) was born April 25, 1950, in Pine Bluff, AR. He departed this life on March 07, 2023. He united with St. Matthew Baptist Church at an early age, was a Sunday school teacher and member of the Men’s choir. Kenneth was one of the first Black-Americans to graduate from Foreman High School with the class of 1969. Kenneth joined the United States Air Force in 1970 and completed 4 years with an Honorable discharge. After which, he joined the United States Army and retired from the Army Reserves in 2008 after a total of 32 years of service. Kenneth became a reserve police officer and court bailiff for Little River County Sheriff Department where he remained many years until his passing. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Ulysses Dixon; mother, Helen Dixon; and two brothers, Ronald Charles and Michael Wayne Dixon. He leaves to cherish his memories: 3 children—Cindy Caudle (Chris), Brian Dixon, Kimberly Jones; 3 grandchildren—Trevon Caudle, Carston Caudle, Brooklyn Dixon; 2 brothers—Eugene Dixon (Royce) of Vernon, TX; William Dixon (Paula) of Foreman, AR; 4 sisters—Sheri Collins (WH) of Foreman, AR; Jacqueline Wiseman of Foreman, AR; Barbara Ware (Mitch) of Texarkana, AR; Constance Stitt (Robert) of New Port Richey, FL; special brother—Norman Jarvis. 2 bonus brothers—Stanley Dixon of Chicago, IL; Anthony Dixon, Sr (Terry) of Rex, GA; aunt—Linda Dixon of Lewisville, TX. 16 nieces and nephews—Alicia Deavens (Lonnie), Denyse Collins, Zandra Foley (Ron), William Collins, Jeff Sims (Jessica), Joslyn McEwen, Christopher Hunt, Charolette Hunt, Ana Hunt, Anthony Williams, Alexandria Dixon, Hollie Chaytor, Meghan Buchanan (Anthony), Tangela Watson (Herman, Jr), James White, Jr, Roland White. 23 great-nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
