Elizabeth (Liz) Murchison, 46, of Ashdown, AR died Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in a local hospital. She was born March 4, 1975 in Birmingham, AL to Oscar Lay and Shirly Bryant. Mrs. Murchison was a member of Bread of Life Church in Ashdown. She is preceded in death by her father, Oscar Lay. Survivors include her husband, David Murchison of Ashdown, one son, Tyler Murchison on Ashdown, four sisters, Tammy Bates of Alabama, Becca Bryant of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Angel Bryant of Ashdown and Tierra Litchford of Warren, AR. Visitation will be Friday, December 10, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown. Services will be Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2:00 at the funeral home with Andrew Empty officiating. Interment will follow at Ashdown Memorial Gardens.
