Myra "Sue" Hargraves

November 11, 1938 - April 22, 2020

Myra Sue Hargaves, 82, of Ashdown Arkansas, journeyed to her everlasting home on April 22nd, 2020. She drifted into sleep and woke up in the presence of her Savior Jesus Christ. Myra Sue was born on November 11, 1938 to Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Bonner in Oak Grove Louisiana. She was welcomed to her eternal home by her loving Husband of 62 years, M.R. Hargraves. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers; Oliver Bonner, Harvey Bonner, K.C and his spouse Lela Bonner, Norwood and his spouse Caroline Bonner and Pete and his spouse Hazel Bonner, two sisters and their spouses, Emma Lee and Loyd Halloway and Bonnie and Emmet Mitcham, and one grandson, Samuel Jake Walker. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Renee’ Walker and Husband Donald Joe Walker, her son Bruce Wayne Hargraves, three granddaughters along with their husbands; Holly and Brian Scroggins, Anna and Scott Springer, Callie and Drew Ames; six great grandchildren, Samuel and Savana Scroggins, Daniel and Eva Springer, and Eli and Kolton Ames, all of Ashdown, Arkansas. She also leaves behind her loving brother and his spouse, Huey and Gloria Bonner of Bastrop, LA, and three sisters and their spouses, Peggy and Don Wills of Carthage Texas, Dora and Bob Johnson of Carthage Texas, and Tinna and Glen Harper of Bastrop Louisiana. Her sister in Laws, Bettie and Butch Hobson of Silsbee, Texas, Flo and Robert Worsham of Hemphill, Texas and Pat and David Boltin of Farmington, Arkansas, Joyce Hankamer of Sour Lake, Texas along with a great number of nieces and nephews. A graveyard service will be held for immediate family at Ashdown Memorial Gardens. In light of current situations, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Sue and Richard Hargraves’ believed in being the hands of Jesus. The family request in lieu of flowers, please help an out of work or displaced family during this difficult time.
