Shurman Allen Parks, 75, died March 13, 2020 in a Texarkana hospital. Mr. Parks was born October 20, 1944 in Prescott, AR. He worked in commercial construction and was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Marvin Parks and Lillie Mae Bearden Parks. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Peggy Parks of Ashdown, one son, Scott Allen Parks of Ashdown, one daughter, Ginger Parks of San Antonio, TX, one brother, Jerry Wayne Parks of Texarkana, TX, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
