Toni Lynn Birmingham Cobb, 63, of Ashdown gained her angel wings on Monday, December 16, 2019. She was born in Texarkana, AR to Tony and Helen Birmingham. She graduated high school at Arkansas High School in 1974 and began college at Texarkana Community College and received her Master’s Degree from Texas A&M University – Texarkana. Toni was called to be a schoolteacher. Many students benefited from her God-given talent to instruct them with gentleness and kindness. She began teaching at Winthrop High School in 1977. She retired from Ashdown School District in 2011. Then she began working as a facilitator at Watersprings Ranch in Texarkana until 2015 when she fully retired. After retiring she became a full-time Mimi, which she treasured. Toni was passionate and strong in her faith loving her Lord and Savior. She shared her faith every chance she got and prayed for everyone she knew fervently and relentlessly. She also loved her family with her whole heart. Her children and grandchildren were her biggest blessings. Predeceasing her are her parents and her sister, Pam Sehon. Left to lovingly cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Mark Cobb, sons and daughters-in-love, Matt and Tabatha Cobb, Adam and Lacey Cobb, grandchildren, Kaylie, Blake, Brady, Claire, and Witten Cobb, all of Ashdown, father and mother-in-law, Sam and Liz Cobb, brother and sister-in-law, Stuart and Connie Cobb, Rex and Karen Cobb, Scott and Terry Cobb, brother-in-law, Johnny Sehon, special friend, Dee Dee Ward, other relatives, and numerous friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 18th at Madden Funeral Home from 6-8:00. Brother Don Embry will officiate the memorial service at Central Baptist Church on Thursday at 10:00. Internment will be at Memorial Gardens in Texarkana following the service.
