Austin Troy Hooks April 13, 2003 – March 14, 2025 With shattered hearts, we share the passing of Austin Troy Hooks, whose bright smile and enormous heart touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Born on April 13, 2003, Austin brought joy, laughter, and kindness into the world from the very beginning. He was a big goofball with a contagious sense of humor, always making others laugh and finding joy in the simple things. As a little boy, Austin was energetic, independent, and always eager to play outside. He loved building things, taking things apart just to figure out how they worked, and had a natural gift for mechanics. That curiosity and hands-on ability stayed with him throughout his life. While he faced struggles along the way, he had an incredible strength that kept him pushing forward, never giving up on himself or those he loved. Austin was the best, most dependable, and funniest big brother anyone could ask for. He took pride in his role, always looking out for his siblings, offering a helping hand, and sharing a laugh to brighten their day. Austin had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing. He found peace on the water, whether casting a line at sunrise or spending quiet moments waiting for the next big catch. He also loved being in the mountains—camping, hiking, sitting by the campfire, and snow tubing. Nature was his escape, his adventure, and where he felt most at home. He was full of ambition and determination, recently celebrating his acceptance into college, where he was ready to take on new challenges and build a bright future. He had big dreams, and those who knew him had no doubt he would achieve them. Austin’s love, loyalty, and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is gone too soon, his impact will never fade. Austin is survived by his father, Jason Troy Hooks; his mother and stepfather, Christina and Corey Cinkosky. He also leaves behind his beloved siblings, his brother, Parker Hooks (19) and his girlfriend Sylvia Ulibarri and their son, Parker Severo Ulibarri-Hooks; his sisters, Avery Camryn Hooks (7), Addison Grace Hooks (6), and Ainsley Anne Hooks (4); as well as his grandparents, Penny Pink, William Pink, Troy & Kathy Hooks, and Shawn Tandy. Additionally, he is survived by his girlfriend, Bre McClure, and her two daughters, Lily and Wendy, whom he loved dearly. His extended family and many friends will forever cherish his memory. Austin was preceded in death by his stepmother, Kiley Hooks. Celebration of Life for Austin Troy Hooks Austin will be cremated, and there are no plans for a burial service.
